Build It and They Will Come

I am suspecting now that I was somewhat premature, but I would swear on whatever you hold sacred that last week I saw a hummingbird whizzing around in the backyard. So with do diligence I went out and got a feeder, stand, and some sticky, sweet, red elixir. And now I am waiting patiently, patiently waiting.

Any bets on when my Hummers will show up?

Sticky Sweet Red Elixir

I did some research and hummingbirds start to show up in Georgia in mid March, so I am not that far off the mark. Hums are pretty amazing, they fly up all the way from South America. That's a 2,000 mile trip.

I think the hums fly up in swarms and then once they reach their summer location they break up into individual families. This is a good thing. Two or three hummingbirds whizzing about can be entertaining, but up the ante to several dozen and one would have a problem.

So for now I am waiting patiently, patiently waiting, but I am a little concerned though. The same group of hummingbirds seem to come back each year to the same location. Maybe all of the good ones have already been taken.

The Magick is in The Blood

In and out, exhale, inhale, the good stuff in and the bad stuff out. And as the oxygen hits the back of my throat it is cool and mysteriously refreshing. I instinctively know that this stuff is good for me.

And once within the temple to travel further still, going to the place where the magick, the transformation takes place, water into wine. And in the lungs there is a mixing of that which was outside and that which was inside, a red marriage of the elements, magick.

And from the lungs, once mixed, once transformed, to go round and round, fire for the heart, and fire for the mind, a pretty dance of colors to hold me in her sway.

This is the high magick, to take a something that is almost nothing and make it into something wondrous.

In and out, exhale, inhale, get you to the magick now. And when you are as thus all are pleased.

2 Lips

Can't do the past. The past has a stench to it. It stinks. Has to be fresh. Can only do the here and now. It has to be fresh. It has to be fresh like fish.

Lots of good stuff have come and gone but I just can't do it. No yesterdays, only tomorrows.

But that's a lie. No tomorrows, only yesterdays.

The past comes and goes. There is a half life to it. Tick, tick, tock. Here today and then gone. Can't remember. So memento.

But in truth I can only bring you the past, stuff that has already happened.

The lips, the 2, the tulips. Wow.

All this and heaven too! I love it.

Wide Open

The story.

When they are happy and proud they shine. Happy for lips are when they are hot. Had the heater on. Guess just a little too much.

Can you do anything else with what you have going on.?

Why not.

I woke up at 8:30. I thought it was 8:30 am, but as the tick, tick, tock went by, and it didn't get lighter, in the sun high, I came to assume that it was 8:30 pm, night.

Soon much will come and it will be good. The fish will swim deep. Soon my heart will sing. Soon I will be closer. Soon you will know. It will come slowly. It will come slow. Soon you will know the truth.

Once upon a time I dipped my pole into the water. Once upon a time I fished. Once upon a time I fished in deep waters. I had a hook but no bait. I hoped for a big one.

Once upon a time I fished in deep waters with a hook without bait, once I fished deep.

And as I fished, I asked my gods for guidance. I asked my gods for tomorrow. I asked for a different way.

And at first there was silence, no gods speaking. And at first there was nothing.

But in time - seconds, minutes, hours, days, she came.

They were sevens and they waited patiently, patientlyy they waited.

Unfortunately the sequence was not sequential, the function generating the phenomenon was non linear in the betas.

They were sevens and they waited patiently, p they waited.

Once upon a midnight dreary
While I waited weak and weary

Wait just a fucking minute. Something is very wrong. No way. While I waited. Bite me. That is just not Poeish enough. I hung out with the dude. He never waited for anything. Perhaps he pondered, but he never waited.

Let's try it now.

Once upon a midnight dreary
While I pondered weak and weary

That's it. Bring it to daddy, you nasty bitch.

Once upon a midnight dreary
While I pondered weak and weary
Over many a forgotten

I am so memento. I have forgotten my favorite passage. No quaint and curious. Tant pis.

Once upon a midnight dreary (actually it is 2:39 am)
While I pondered weak and weary
Over many a quaint and curious volumes of forgotten lore.

My bitch is the best...

Bush Happens

Oil is hitting 13 year highs. Gold is at over $400 an oz. The dollar is plummeting against all major currencies. The trade deficit hit a record high in February. The federal budget is running massive deficits for as far as the eye can see. Millions of highly trained people can't find jobs.

But hey the economy is doing great. I know the economy is doing great because Bush Happens told me so.

Will we ever have a national energy policy that doesn't make us so dependent on 3rd world countries? Not with George Bush as President because he thinks things are great.

AU is a risk parameter. When gold is low people feel safe. When gold is high people feel apprehensive. How come people don't feel safer with George Bush as President.

A weak dollar is suppose to be good for the economy. But I don't care what all those graphs and equations are suppose to mean. If the rest of the world is telling us that our currency is worth less and less, that doesn't seem so good to me. But then again Bush Happens.

If the US economy is doing so well, how come we have to borrow more and more from other countries to satisfy our wants and needs?

With the deficit now out of control I feel sorry for the young of this country. It took the US 20 years to get the deficit under control, but in 4 years Bush Happens has racked up more debt than any other President. But I suspect that Bush Happens isn't worried about that too much, because when the shit hits the fan he will have been long gone.

And to the millions of highly trained unemployed people in this country Bush Happens says tough. How can we have high oil & gas prices, massive trade and budget deficits, and a declining dollar without outsourcing.

I feel much safer now and the economy is doing things it has never done before. This is all great because George Bush told me so. And I am sure if he made a mistake in the calculations or something he would tell us because you know, Bush Happens.
