Bday - Little One

E has been very good this year and these are just a few of the many, many, presents she got.

Happy Birthday E

Earth Mother
Pillow for my Heart
The warmth and comfort of Love
Sugar Plum
Cute, cuddly, and very, very, Snuggly
My little One
Forever and always
My little Angel

I was trying to focus on the note and thus the red rose is out of focus. Need to work on depth of field.

Snapped Out

I have been taking a journey today back into the past. I have been reviewing old snaps I took in 2001. Wow! Little goose bumps and happy, life has been very good to me.

The snap below is part of a series of pictures that for some reason hold me in their sway. The snap below is part of a series of pictures I took in the bedroom of my old apartment experimenting with the timer.

Unfortunately, in 2001 I was using a 1.3 megapixel camera. I would love to have a series of prints of this little adventure. I will have to see what I can do about enlarging these snaps without generating too much distortion. Supposably the trick is do the enlarging a little bit at a time. We shall see and as always the magic is in the doing.

This is my bedroom in my old apartment and I am taking snaps of myself in the mirror using the camera's timer.

Hope I am Smiling

Eureka! By gradually resizing I was able to generate a decent 4x6 print. This is not a good test of resizing though because this snap lacks detail. While I was messing around I tried an invert.

The inverted snap prints out better because of the preponderance of black vs. white. But the first snap is truer to the actually coloring of the room and such .

Fork You

I should be organizing my documents and snaps. My mind and its outer manifestation, the temple, are in a state of disarray. I should be organizing, and cross referencing, and saving, and copying, and printing, and considering, and discovering, and, and and, and and…creating that which has never been, creating that which has never been amongst us, creating that which is new, creating that which is frêsh.

But I, The Master of Time and Space, find myself and my efforts, the focus of my energy, elsewhere. I find myself, fork you, with a fork in my hand, with a fork in my hand but with nothing to eat. How can this be?

As I have grown, or perhaps shrunk, I have developed a fondness, which almost borders on obsession but not quite, for plants. I have a rather large informal garden outside, and a good number of verdant friends inside. As a rule plants do well for me, well at least they don’t wither and die. It’s not that I know anything really special, but I do try, and part of the trick is that we both celebrate together.

I know I should have a snap of or fork or something but I am such a slacker.

Out the Indoor

This morning I acquired a new trick, simple as all true magic is but effective. In this case the wand used in the celebration was a fork. I could tell all but then it would deprive you of the rush of discovery. Better to dwell on what one could do with a fork and a potted plant?

And when asked how good it was he replied, “Something is always better than nothing.”

Lux et Veritas

Hail, Holy, and let there be lots and lots, of that which is and isn’t, but still very fast, some say the fastest, others naught/knot/not. Hail, Holy, Light.

And they howled and hissed as they listened to the light.

Out of the Darkness into the Light

And according to theoretical physics nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, c, but then again according to theoretical physics gravity acts across the field instantaneously. One is and one is naught, but not both.

Again according to theoretical physics e=mc2, but if nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, c, then c2 does not exist.
